Ceremonies & Receptions
- The guest capacity for weddings and receptions at Two Rivers Mansion is 125. Indoor ceremonies are held in the double parlor rooms. Seating is limited to 85 guests. Tents can be rented for larger groups at Two Rivers Mansion. The guest capacity for weddings and receptions at Stone Hall is 75 people seated at cocktail tables, or 50 guests seated inside. The garden at Stone Hall can accommodate approximately 125-140 seated guests.
- Two Rivers Mansion only: Outdoor ceremonies may be held on the front porch or gazebo.
- Throwing rice, birdseed, silk flower petals or confetti is prohibited. Sparklers are prohibited.
- Additional hours, floor plans and rental balance must be confirmed 30 days in advance of your event.
Rehearsals
- We are not always able to grant a specific rehearsal time. If possible, we will give 2 hours the day before the wedding.
- Rehearsal must be scheduled with the events manager 30 days in advance.
Tables, Chairs, & Benches
- Tables & chairs are set for your event. Venue tables and chairs are not to be used on the lawn. Floor plans cannot be changed, please do not move tables and chairs. No guest seating in the front foyer. Antique furniture may not be used for events. Rental chairs may not be used inside the venue. For safety, doors cannot be blocked by tables or chairs.
- The venue’s tables and chairs may not be used outdoors. Rental chairs that have been used on the lawn may not be used inside the venue.
- Two Rivers Mansion only: Park benches at Two Rivers Mansion are stored on the south side of the mansion. The renter must set up and restack the benches. There are thirty (30) and this gives guest seating for 120. Benches may not be used on the back veranda.
Bridal Suites and Groom's Cabin at Stone Hall
- A bridal suite at both venues is located on the upper level for the bridal party. All belongings and trash must be removed.
- Stone Hall Only: There is a separate Groom’s Cabin behind Stone Hall. All belongings and trash must be removed.
- Smoking is not allowed inside any room. All belongings and trash must be removed at the end of the event.
Alcohol Policy
- Alcoholic beverages may not be sold.
- A bartender with a valid Tennessee Alcohol and Beverage Commission (TABC) permit must serve all alcohol from a stationary bar and must be always present. The bartender must be supplied by a catering company or professional bartending service.
- No beer kegs are allowed.
- Champagne or other beverage fountains are not allowed.
- Individual guests may not bring alcohol onto the premises, and may not leave the premises with poured beverages.
- Alcohol may only be served during specified hours, not during set-up time, clean up time, or during the wedding rehearsal time.
- The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Metro Parks, and The Friends of Two Rivers assumes no liability for the actions of individuals as a result of serving alcohol. The holder of the event is solely responsible for the actions of all guest.
- We reserve the right to call for police assistance if necessary.
