Jeff Syracuse

Jeff has been a neighborhood leader in Donelson for over 20 years. He is the founder of the Donelson Hills Neighborhood Association and also a co-founder of Hip Donelson. Jeff served as President of the Donelson-Hermitage Chamber in 2013 and graduated from the L’Evate leadership community the same year. He is also a Past President of the Friends of Two Rivers Mansion and helped create the original Music at the Mansion events. Jeff served as Metro Council Member for District 15 between 2015 and 2023, leading the community in securing a new $20 million Donelson Branch Library and led the creation of the vision for a reimagined WeGo Star Donelson Station. Jeff has supported the mansion in numerous ways, including securing the initial $1 million for the development of the event center and $4.5 million for critical repairs and restoration of the mansion. Jeff also led the expansion of the Friends roll in serving the community’s historic sites with the inclusion of Stone Hall at Ravenwood Park. Jeff is passionate about historic preservation and led efforts on Metro Council to further support for preserving Nashville’s history and culture. A music industry executive for over 25-years, Jeff also led efforts on Council to support Nashville’s local independent music venues. He serves on the Nashville Entertainment Commission as an appointee of Mayor Freddie O’Connell and is passionate about supporting the working creatives of Nashville.
