A Centerpiece of Local Life, Then & Now

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the site lies nestled between the Stones and Cumberland Rivers. This beautiful 1859 antebellum mansion and the adjacent 1802 Federal style brick home were once the centerpiece of Donelson, Tennessee.

The Friends of Two Rivers mission of restoration, preservation, protection, and promotion of Two Rivers Mansion and the 1802 House is guided by a Master Plan that was implemented in November 2016.  We invite you to read the extensive work led by Encore Interpretative Design here.
