We also have a special book titled “Dr. Clara C. Plimpton-McGavock: An Unlikely Mistress of Two Rivers” by Barbara Franklin & Carolyn Sullivan, about the wife of David & Willie McGavock’s son, Frank, one of the first female physicians in Nashville and who saved Two Rivers Mansion when it was sold on the courthouse steps.
